Aegis offers five services. Each can be engaged on its own or combined. Every project is quoted individually, based on the work required, so you know the cost before anything begins.

1-Hour Design Consultation

Not sure where to start, or want a professional second opinion before committing to a full service? A focused one-hour session to review your plans, your questions, or your ideas and give you clear, practical direction.

  • – One hour consultation – in person (Melbourne) or via video call

    – Review of any plans, drawings, finishes, or ideas you bring to the session

    – Honest, practical design guidance tailored to your specific project and stage

    – Brief written summary of key recommendations sent after the session

Floor Plan Review

An independent review of an architect's, builder's, or developer's plans — so you can see what you are approving and have the opportunity to refine it before construction begins.

  • – Initial 1-hour briefing to understand your requirements, lifestyle, and how you use the space

    – Independent review of existing architectural or builder's plans

    – One set of annotated floor plan markups with recommendations (note: implementation requires your original drafter to revise their drawings)

    – 1-hour review meeting to walk through markups and explain the rationale

    – One round of revisions to the markups

Finish Selection

A curated palette of finishes - tiles, stone, flooring, joinery colours, hardware, and paint - selected and presented in context so you can see how everything works together before anything is ordered.

  • – Initial 1-hour briefing to understand your style preferences, priorities, and budget

    – Curation and sourcing of finishes across your nominated spaces

    – Digital mood board and visual presentation showing finishes in context

    – Physical sample board for hands-on review

    – 1-hour presentation meeting to walk through selections

    – One round of revisions to the selections

Concept Design

A full design direction for a space or whole home. Covers layout, spatial planning, materials and finishes, joinery direction, and lighting concept - everything needed to brief a builder or align a team on the design intent.

  • – Initial 1-hour briefing to understand your vision, lifestyle, and project brief

    – One concept direction covering srial and finish palette, joinery direction, and lighting concept

    – Digital concept presentation - mood board, layout, and finish references

    – 1-hour presentation meeting to walk through the concept

    – One round of revisions to the concept

Joinery Drawing
Review

An independent review of joinery shop drawings submitted by your cabinetmaker or joinery company - checked against the agreed design intent before fabrication begins, so discrepancies are caught before they become costly to fix.

  • – Independent review of shop drawings submitted by your joinery company

    – Cross-referenced against the agreed design brief and intent

    – Marked-up drawings with annotations flagging discrepancies in dimensions, finishes, hardware, and detailing

    – 1-hour meeting to walk through findings with you

    – One further round of review after your joinery company has responded to the markups
